Avalon II (Avalon North) is located in Mission Bay of San Francisco. Avalon at Mission Bay offers thoughtfully designed studios, 1, 2 & 3 bedroom apartments and townhomes. Following the Mission Bay Development Guidelines, the massing of the project consists of a 17-story high-rise tower and a 7-story low-rise component in which are interconnected by the galleria and the lobby, that fronts King Street on the main entry side and the auto-court on the other. This one-story translucent element is the ultimate social gathering place for tenants as it also connects the elevator lobbies and the gymnasium. The design of the main lobby entry sequence is comprised of hard surfaces that are softened by the draping fabric on the ceiling surfaces and also controls overall acoustics.
